Freelancer!

i got it... apparently, it came out earlier than i thought it would have, the same day as you guys got it in america... dunno how they do it, but i grabbed the chance... one question, is it one disc only ?
just my opinion, and a question to others, i find mouse controlling SERIOUSLY HARD... am i alone on this? well, i find controlling the manuvures and firing with the mouse... and i wanna ask the opinion on the HUD displays for all of you, personally, i think starlancer's HUD was waay.. better than Freelancer's.

one problem, do any of you experience this;
whenever i'm dogfighting, my ship (doesn't matter wat ship i think, cuz it was the same for the 2 ships i have had so far) tries to 'right' iself whenever i stop turning for a moment. and i turned to the keyboard controls to dogfight, (i'm used to it) the same ones in starlancer... and when i'm turning left/right, the ship keeps ****ing - BAD... its ****ing bad. when i'm turning left, it turns, then ****s. what it is doing, when i found out, was that it turns, and like other flight sims, it turns a bit in the process (this is natural) but the ship in freelancer ****s to right itself up again. thiss is soooooooooo annoying, and keeps throwing me off aim... any suggestions ?

besides that, i think i'm fine so far.. more questions, i'll post... thx for reading...

Perhaps you need to hit the spacebar and go to mouse flight, that would make things 1000% easier for you in combat. It also will not autolevel when you are in mouse flight.

May I ask if your copy is legal? I'm sorry, but it's suspicious. The box alone should tell you how many cds are supposed to be in it, and if you have the manual and read it, learning to use the mouse control should be easy.

Hmmm.....this post does seem a bit fishy. Since the game has came out, the warez postings have exploded. What's up with that?

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

There is a way to turn off auto-level. First, you have to map it, as there is no default key. Mine is L.

Being a player of both starsiege and tribes2 as well, It's not too much of a problem to aim or fly with the mouse for me. I would prefer a joystick, but take what you can get. Still a great game.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
