Hi all,

Consisting of 5 new Counter-Epsilon factions - 1 from each house, and 1 from the pirate systems (Hispania)The Counter-Epsilon are factions like the Order – plus Elite factions - who were formed to protect Sirius from its new invaders

New Original Ships –

From light fighter classes to the heavy fighter classesNew Ship Classes – Medium Fighters, Light and Heavy Interceptors, plus the new Assault Class fighter,

12 new systems opened for exploration -

2 for each house, 4 independent / pirate systems - home systems for the epsilon factions

New Weapons
New sounds
Complete Infocards
Possibly new news entries
New Alien Adversaries!

If you thought the Nomads were bad – wait till you find these Nasties – or they find you……

It is probable that this mod may be released in chapters....instead of one large package...a few reasons...... models mats etc.....

The latest version of Epsilon is 3.11. You can download it here or by clicking on this image



There is also a patch for Epsilon which should be downloaded as it fixes a fatal error. The old version is not compatible with the patched version, so if you want to play on servers with the patch, you will need it as well. You can download it here

Guys, this looks awesome...cant wait for it to come out. This should bring back some of the new game feel to Freelancer

hmm... seems like you forgot all about the trader part of the game, i would recommend some large transports, small transports, heavily armed transports with about 200k cargo space, and the lightly armed transports with 8,000,000 cargo space, (the unpilotable transports ingame have around 800,000 cargo space).

are there any friendly aliens?

what about a "Body Guards" security faction, so like, they have bodyguards for the transports, and the more friendly you are with "Bodyguards1" the stronger ships you have protecting you, and the friendlier you are with "Bodyguards2" the more ship you have covering you, but, if you get friendlier with the Bodyguards1, you get a little less popular with Bodyguards2... and you can determine how much they like you buy how much money they make, (if you dont pay them enough for their ammo, missiles, torpedoes, and repairs then their respect goes down, if you pay them like, 4,000 more, their respect goes up, you can pay them whenever, but once you pay them, they leave) say you could hire them at various Bodyguard Bases, (i got some names... Echelon Base, Home Lance Security, etc)

more as i think of it...

thanks for the nice feedback guys...we are adding some more transports and freighters and such, so dont worry about it, we are also adding new capships, gunboats,cruisers....there will be much to see...about aliens, aside from the 5 hostile factions we are adding, we are adding 5 counter-epsilon factions who formed to combat the new threat to sirius, we are adding elite pilot factions to each house also....each elite faction will have new ships and weapons....a force to be reckoned with...im not positive on the bodyguard thing, that would be quite a task to tackle...it would require changing the AI of the game dramastically, and i dont think we are in for that...good ideas though, keep the ideas rolling....

hey, are you gonna make Flyable Capital ships, like "Battleship Mississippi", "Battleship Myoko", "Battleship Westfallen", etc and Cruisers, like the smaller ones in game? if so, i have an idea for how they get around, if they are too big for tradelanes, then, give them better engines, ill explain, the turning sucks, but, the engines go normal speed, 80, but, they have huge thrusters, and they are the cruise engines, 300, and then the Shift -W (default Cruise engines) go like as fast as the tradlanes take you.

i'd say, for Capital ship equipment, 6 Torpedoes, 20-30 turrets, 5-10 of the turrets are rear fire, another 5 are on each side, but can fire forward and back, and the other ten are forward firing, 4 guns (hopefully you guys can make a Class 11 type guns, like Super weapons, like the guys in the story, that shoot the blue laser things, just a hell of a lot stronger, plus, if you can put stronger sensors, cool, if not, oh well, oh, and let other players dock with you... )

and Cruisers, no docking, but better turning, 2 torpedoes, 15-20 turrets, 5 on each side, all others bacward, and as the forward gun... 2 super weapons.

if you could do that, this mod would KICK ASS... (of course, you could only buy Capital Ships at Shipyards, for like 1-2 million dollars, and you have to be on VERY good terms to buy them with the Navy of that sector, and Cruisers too, but for 500,000-750,000, and you dont have to be on THAT-that friendly of terms, but still friendly, {but, the Rheinland cruisers and Carriers cost an extra 25,000 dollars, cause the Rheinland Government is supposed to be running low on money})

lol....two minutes....a/w...we wont be adding any of the existing battleships or anything (nomad, rheinland, liberty, etc....) we are making our own models....i've done maybe 3, 4, or 5 battleships....2 or 3 gunboats....if anyone knows a good webpage host that lets you have unlimited pictures (a size cap is fine) i would appreciate it if they'd let me in....and you'd get to see some pics of my models...

oh and btw, the battleships cost about $12,000,000 if you use the cost calculator....im not gonna subtract the maneuverability for the cost because if you did the cost would be 0....or less.......i love that face

aw, i wanted to fly a Rheinland Carrier... oh well, can people dock with your Carriers? cause thats what makes it a carrier

OH, i got an idea, i edited this in...

can you put a limit of the enemy NPCs, so like, you can kill them off, all together, cause when i see my guys fighting, sometimes, i dont help em, just cause, oh well, wont make a difference. etc. but i understand, how hard it would be... so, eek. plus, its not to good of an idea.. i'll try to explain later... bye
