Planet = Cambridge..
Level = 9 (the seach for Siclair)

Type of bug-
when i want to buy that 'pregnant Freighter' (Clydesdale)..
Ship dealer gave me Cavalier ('though its said that i must in friendly position to buy cavalier)..

Intro & outro movies of mission 1: Starviper suddenly disappears (you should check the LOD ranges)... Oh, and why are Xenos so hard?

Um that prison in Manchester, you can't talke of from it in the um thingy, whatcha call it the upgraded Star viper, you get it in Dublin >_> when I remember it's name I'll post it. But anyway your tail gets caught inside the station WALL and the rest of you ain't.

Thanks - all prisons are fixed for 1.28 - i was going to make a patch for 1.27 to fix those sorts of things, but enough people moaned about downloading patches when i made them, that i decided to stop doing it for non-vital things (ie major crash issues would get patch, fixing some annoying errors would not).

The starviper - its not lod ranges. Its something to do with custom ships this problem - mainly with the fact that at certain angles near all ships disappear.....and this happens in intro videos

Is Leeds not supposed to be able to buy Pirate Pilots? I noticed this planet and 1 other (in the list so far) I can't remember off-hand which one, didn't allow the selling of Pirate Pilots to the commoditites dealer. Was this a choice or a mistake?

Also, I don't know if this is part of the Freelancer engine or has to do with your mod, but when I went to Manhatten to talk to Juni (just before the mission where all of Liberty Police hate you and are waiting for you off-planet) I declined the mission, because I wanted to repair my ship and save. I also wanted to take a bar mission, when I did, it actually skipped the movie with the guy dying with the artifact and told me I had already accepted the Juni mission. It had the mission sound and everything, just no CG movie.

I'm on New London and I cannot buy Shield Batteries because I am not level 30?!?!?!?! I just purchased that Brigadier Very Heavy Fighter on the near-by Bretonia Battleship, just a couple kliks away. I have to add, I also have an Armor Upgrade 4.

BTW, can you keep adding extra strength by adding more of those, or will only the one Armor work?

Also, if I go between "rooms" (platforum,bar,equipment ...) too many times my Neural Net goes blank and I can't accept any missions.

Hmm - no idea about the neural net going blank - will take a peek.........but the simple fix is.......don't go back and forth - its not a bug, its the bartender and bar staff getting annoyed that you keep walking in and out without buying anything - so they then won't give you anything

You should find that the armor only allows one to be mounted in the hold. When you buy it you might have to mount it (click the little jigsaw apart logo on the armor so that it becomes one piece = mounted). You will find that if you have more than one, when you mount the second, the first one is automatically demounted from the hull.....or it should be

The info card on enjected Navy Pilots (at least Kusari Navy Pilots) is wrong. It displays some ships stats.

Navy Pilots
Gun Mounts: 0/8
Armor: 8900
Cargo Space: 100

On New Berlin the Rheinland Gunboat has no stats listed whatsoever.

Also, your 2001 Space Oddessy music at the menu screen (great addition btw! ) has the sound of an Instant Message notification that someone hase signed off. You may want to rerecord that or find another recording of it.

heheh - hmm - maybe you should beta next version spectre - cause in 1.28 all these are fixed . Of course - chances are you might come across a new problem - so keep them coming - but lots have been caught at the mo. Unfort people moan about updates, so i decided to do away with constant updates to fix these little bugs to stop the moaners! lol.

Mind you - it also poses problems on servers if they don't update, or poeple don't update and join those as you might imagine, so its kinda 2 fold as to why no more updates......otherwise i would have fixed all them

Well, I'm glad you know about some of these already. I'll keep posting more when I come across them. No need to worry with replying, unless I have a specific question. If you've already addressed it, then it's fixed. If not, then I hoped I helped.

The only thing I think you should add to 1.28 are random Battleship encounters. And make sure OpenSP works with it, because I'm playing through the storyline now and don't really want to do it again with 1.28.

Now that I've finished the main story, I started my scouting. On Rochester Base I purchased the Eagle, but was given the CSV instead, which I shouldn't have gotten because I needed to be on Friendlier terms with them.

Which brings me to another point, it seems (maybe I'm imagining things) that there are a lot of things that I need to be excessively friendly with a faction before I can buy. Not just green, but full bar green. And even then IIRC there were times I still needed to be friendlier.

Sprague is weird. I like the fact you made it redockable after the <spoiler> happened in the story line. But there are no people and regardless of what room I go to, it only gives me the ship dealer to buy the Slipstream. That is a great ship btw, but when it is travelling in Jumpgate/hole tunnels between systems it flickers in and out of existence.

Also, that hole you added with all the ship carcasses, leading to the Nomad system is smegging hard. I went to the system and it looked really cool, but after something like 3 battles and only getting a couple of kliks in distance, I loaded because I just couldn't have enough free reign to search for anything. Since when do Nomads have Cruise Disruptors? I don't remember that from the SP game whatsoever and it is impossible to search your system while they have it.

My question is ... is there anything to find in that system? Bases, Planets (didn't see any as far as I could tell), battleships, anything? Or is it just a feast for the eyes, because it really is a well designed system for the eye.
