All the systems that were in 1.27 will be in 1.28 and then some.

As for ships mounts thats still being debated as we speak so its yet to be decided.

pantherX, just to clarify, since you are fielding questions on this thread, I am currently trying (under GREAT advice from Chips) to make a ship add-on mod for Evo 1.27, and was wondering if I'd have to change it any for 1.28? If I do, I'd like to know what I'd need to just make my mod ready for 1.28 instead of wasting time making it compatible with 1.27.

It should work with 1.28 wihtout any trouble. The only thing that might be differnet is the ships location for selling - however, for that you will just have to change one or two lines is all. Thats the great thing about scripting.

To keep you all updated, i hate giving out release dates, and of course - this is still at LEAST two weeks away now- maybe even a month

However, i can say that it will be worth the wait...............i think

Chips, any chance of convincing you to up the cargo values of the fighters to at least 20 for the lights? it is frustrating salvageing a stock freelancer wreck and having to leave 10 of the twenty units of cargo behind...

that or make the purchase cost of the better freighters cheaper

@chips, the serpentail (kusari vhf) looks cool... and the bretonia is also nice...

just wonder 1 thing... not about thus ship but about the blood dragons...
in some mods is also the blood dragons "dragon" buyable by the blooddragon base, missed this a little co'z their are a lot off new ships also in the game... i hope that you maybe will add this "dragon" for pirates who like the look off the dragons, but won't buy them from kusari, co'z then they must do jobs for them and kill pirates...

Chips o hope u slow the mos down some the way the ships bounced all over the place in 1,27 was very unnerving drove me nuts I like the normal speeds . the ship handling on the vhf in fl sucked so I hope u can make then more user friendly

Concerning 1.28 is there a size on it? Evo was known as the biggest little mod around which was one of the good things for us military users. The Powers that Be take a dim view on large download.

But till then keep up the wonderfull work!!!!!

Still finishing off some ships. Just when we are "wrapping up" someone makes an amazing ship that we "must have" in the mod - its a good thing, as it gives more time to whittle down the errors to things like "spelling mistakes" rather than crashes

The mod is substantially bigger - its approx 22Mb (without splash screen or extra sounds). However, if i make new sounds and so on, I might try and make a second option available to poeple. Multiple downloads that can be "assembled" at your end....or in effect, it builds itself at your end instead. For example, you could have the main download of the mod - which means it will 'work'. It would still be around 15 or so megabytes in size, maybe 18 meg or so (ships files). After that, the splash screen and basic sound files - which could be a seperate 10meg for splash screen, and 2 meg for sound files. Then the version number - which is around 2meg or so as well........this way to play the mod in SP you will really only need ONE download - the main one. However, to get the full effect, you can download the main part and the version change to play online, then the next day download the sound and splash screen too.........

Once we have it made, i will look more into this option for people
