MD : I use http://www.inbox.net it has a 10 meg storage limit. It is totally free (tho you can upgrade for cash) and since i opened the account (a year ago) i have not had one piece of spam.

I have not used your mod, largly due to time constraints, i shouldnt really have started playing FL and i def. didnt fancy playing through twice.

However i have just read the last 12 pages and i am now knee deep in a pile of drool Hopefully get a chance to try at at the w/end it sounds super sweet. Give it a few weeks and microsoft will turn up at your door with a fat cheque, slap a storyline on it, rename it FL 2 and punt it for £40 a go Either that or they'll come round in a black landrover with tinted windows and impound you in their programming prison...

thanx redeye, but it looks they're not taking any new clients, they're over 90% full. if u wanna play wait till I post v1.0b, it has the most BS killing missions and the only ones as i know till now.
Another option will be to use a powerfull archiver, like that UHA archiver they are using for packing diferrent stuff...maybe I can find it on the net, it has a 3/1 packing rate for a zip archive!!!

Still having the WhiteStar prob within the mod. I installed from both Babylon5 pack according to the instruction, and even from the standalone WhiteStar pack. And I have this as the results ...

Purchasable from Planet LA, but one problem, when in purchase screen, ship model cannot be seen when you have the choice to choose the ship. After choosing SELECT SHIP, cannot see any gun slots, turrets slots, nothing can be seen. When ship is bought, and undocked from planet, it hangs.

I posted this up before, and ummm .. HEEEEEELP~!

What is your exact problem anyway - yahoo wont let you upload files bigger than 2.3mb to TLR? If thats the only prob we've just set up a crappy website for our flat (always on cable so no probs with hosting) we set up an ftp: server so we could swap files with our mates. If it will help i'll give you the details and you can upload the stuff to the site and i'll mail it to TLR (obviously it'll have to be renamed 'Redeye's Rebalance MOD' ). If that will help mail me, my address is in my profile.

I'll wait for 1.0. If i can...

The whitestar needs to have the files (except install_readme.txt) from the babylon ship pack (the standalone seems to have missed out one of the files- whitestar.sur) copied to data/ships/babylon, not data/ships/babylon/whitestar. The stuff from the install_readme.ini file isnt needed as Michael's mod has all the code needed.
It would be nice if the next release of this mod had support for all the babylon-5 ships (or at least the millenium falcon).

Hi all the improvment r good, but the engine part is what put it down i say.
i cannot look @ my equip because if the infocard trys to display the engine and tractor beam etc etc it freezes, and i normally have to pull the power to switch off the PC to get bk out, if you can tell me a solution to this then i'd be greatful, but other wise everything else is great

Gameshark, do as ZackW sais, copy the whitestar files into data\ships\babylon or just dl al the babylon ship pack and put the dir Babylon it in data\ships.
All other players having problems with white textures on some ships, go to Display settings\properties\advanced\(name of your card)\direct3d and set the mip map detail levels to best image quality. that should fix the problem.

ok tried all that, everything works except the part when i need to buy, or when i look.
per chance thers a mod like this floating aroun without the engines?

Hey People.
ive got this problem with the mod. Freelancer runs A Ok on its own. I had no problems whatsoever, no mission glitches, no CTF s etc.
I have put in rebalance version 1 using Mod Manager, installed latest Star Wars ship pack manually, White Star put in manually , game starts up OK, Runs OK except for one thing ..... the sound slows down until it virtually stops!
It starts up allright, correct speed, but I start to get shortened conversations as it slows down, and it soon sounds like a record that has been switched off !

Any ideas would be appreciated !

Michael I found a bug. On the planet Pittsburg, the infocard for the CSV doesn't show anything in the ship shop.

Dans mod will be getting very complex by now. Best give him time to fix all these issues. Its a royal pain but he has already fixed a lot in previous versions.

astralli have u installed any souund codecs for movies later...i heard(there's somewhere in the forums here) that is one that conflicts with FL.
Radiation, i'll adress the problem in next build. thanx.
Giskard thanx, that's alot of work and some bugs are unavoidably sliping my checking. i have no team of testers to work on the mod, just myself...
