of course, you can do like Caid and rip models and stuff straight from the game (no offense either) or you can do like Spawn and remodel/retexture them. just don't use OUR models please.

Hi me here, im no expert in modding, but i do like TNG and the way in which you are progressing, and rather than asking you too add stuff in you may not wish to add, I would like to know if i can take current versions of tng and add into those bits I would like for my own personal server, ofcourse I will be more than happy to pass credit back to TNG, as soon as my WWW is sortde out

Hmm maybe enabling the navmap to display the New York Happy Lands --> New York Badlands? I didn't fancy ISWing into the badlands so I modded my download to identify the hole. That would be ok rite?

Well Reynen - maybe correct me if i am wrong:

TNG specific systems, Nexus, Sol, Vorlon, Mimbari, Centuari, Shadow, The Void (Ancients) etc... Methought those were all from a TV series or from the game of Freelancer itself. If it is inspired by the Television series, than i doubt you could claim this to be your sole possesion really. However, you and Michael Dan are capable at defining this yourselves. However, do you imply that he copied your systems? Or just the names? Cause if its the names, am affraid that it really is a weak link........

2: TNG specific ships designed by Spawn, Hadryon, and CaptainOblivious, these include ships from Freespace 2, Homeworld class ships, Wing Commander, & Bab5, and all unique class ships. We will be happy to supply a detailed list once we are finished.

Furry Muff, if they were made by Spawn and Hadryon, and Captain Oblivious, and of course, he had not used them before, then its a good point. He should not use their models unless they gave permission!
However, I think its fair to say that if you are claiming no-one can use ships from the Wing Commander/Homeworld/Bab5 Series/Games at all (whether made by others or not), then I think you should seriously reconsider your perspective.

3: Duriel's super system - I didn't know anyone had seen this - let alone use it.

Bobs intro scripts? Same again, didn't know he used Bobs intro Scripts. If you mean introscript modding.........erm, well - would you have not made new ships if the first person to put a new ship in FL said no-one else could?

Not seen/ heard of Duriels intro vids/clips - so dunno about this one.
Same goes for costumes - not seen anyone using your own designed ones, but also not aware you had one i must admit.

I am also 100% unaware of people stealing the house guns, but if you say they are using your house guns, then i guess you checked.

HOwever, from that list i am guessing your only really talking about points 1 & 2, and unless he has stolen Spawns and co's shipwork without their permission, then i really don't see what you can claim as TNG specific.

However, that is my view, please correct me on details, cause although i am heavily involved in the community, i don't download others mods much at all......so i am unaware just who has "stolen" what.

I think this point in particular is referring to the models and skins themselves - not the concepts. Sure, other mods could have HW ships, but they should be putting the work in themselves on the ships rather than grabbing others - unless of course they've been given permission.
