Beat Hovis in a Liberty Cruiser ^_^

He only got ahead ONCE...when i disengaged cruise briefly to get through one of the final rings...i then caught up just before the last gate and beat him. I was laughing my @$$ off when I did it!

A Liberty Cruiser is kinda big...therefore turning enough to get through the rings is especially difficult...but I don't ever wanna see another goddamn post from some newbie whining that Starfyre Studios eliminate the race mission from 2.0 cuz some FIGHTER can't beat Hovis.

LMFAO. Get some flying skills, you grandmas.

I'm not a newbie, but I hate Hovis and the race concept.
I look forward to a mod that doesn't have that damned race.

I don't know the race is nice for testing out new ships...sort of a shakedown crusie.

This begs a question. How did you land a liberty cruiser at the battle ship? Did you ghost dock or did you modify the berth point? I ask, because I tryed the Vesuvious and had a heck of a time docking it.

Regular ships, I had a mod thruster and used it instead of cruise engine

Yeah that really gets me annoyed. U hear a bunch of noobs coming on whining that they can't beat Hovis when it is soooooooooooo easy. I'll understand if u are playing with a speed mod, but when playing stock, its as easy as flying up to a tradelane. Ofcourse if u flew a Humpback then it would be a different case but u can't fly a Humpback during the SP Storyline.

Oh and congrats on winning with that Cruiser
