1.54C Patching instructions (READ CAREFULLY)

Download the patch
Unzip the patch
Select all the files in the patch directory
Press ctrl-c to copy all the files
Goto where FLMM is installed usually C:\program files\FLMM MOD MANAGER
Goto the mods DIR, \FLMM MOD MANAGER\Mods
Goto TNG directoey \FLMM MOD MANAGER\Mods\Tng154full
Mkae sure you files are NOT read only
Press ctrl-v to paste the copied files into the directory
Select yes when it prompts to overwrite files
Run FLMM you should now see, Freelancer: The Next Generation 1.54 Patch C
If you do not you did not install the patch correctly, redo it.

Honestly though I think you would do better to just wait for the 1.55 full release...I don't have time to teach someone how to use a computer. You should have learned that before you attempted to mod a game. It's not like just hopping in a car and driving.

If it's one thing that irks me its someone who just bought a computer, knows nothing about how to use it, and then wants to do all this stuff. I'm a firm believer in IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT, DON'T TOUCH IT. Because if you try and do something without knowing how 99% you are going to screw it up. There is always that 1% of luck though.

80% of the reported errors with the expansion is due to people NOT knowing how to install it and try and muck through it then complain when it doesn't work, and I'm sick of it.

ok first of all i know comps up and down
secondly i cant spell
and last ive never used a patch b/c i have never need to so this ONE thing is new to me and thats why i was asking for help
