Is this kind of program possible?

I'm requesting someone out there with the time to make a program that modifies the Freelancer format model/collision files to resize a ship...
...rather than using a 3D modeler like 3DS Max/Lightwave/Milkshape to do it.

The concept is that you load the model file and collision file that already exist and then select a percentage/scale factor.
Then it creates a new model and collision file, both in ready-to-use Freelancer format with the size you wanted, preserving hardpoint locations so that you dont have to move them around manually. Preferably, the prog would keep texture alignment.

This way, resizing ship models for a larger mod would be even easier...esp. for people like me who own no modeling programs and still want to try some experiments in scaling things in Freelancer...

(My trial period of Milkshape has expired...and I never figured out how to use it in the first place.)
