There is still the '//' bug, but I it doesn't annoy me anymore.

And when I add jumgates/holes there's an error with "Cannot save ini file". But after of 2-3 minutes waiting the changes are applied. And it works.

Time to do my new system. Argh.

You might of noticed but when you put a tradelane to a planet, it says the docking ring instead of the planet (I have mentioned this before i think.) And with the Jumpgates it should say "New York jumpgate" but it says
"California->New York" (Which is what the jumpgate is.) Its not major it can just be a bit dodgy.

Mjr.Hurtz, ok i am fixing the tradelane problem I almost forgot about it.
Pu_Raydo, don't know what's happening i have tried the jumpgate without any trouble here...
sealnova, i would be more than happy to fix the crashes But i have to find them first, so if you know how to reproduce one just send me an email ;-)

Wolf Soul, this bug starts to really annoy me. I can't reproduce it here and i don't know what could be causing it So from time to time, i am adding some checks.
But so far, i have no idea.
Can you send me the precise description of what you do and were you save the changes (full path names for freelancer and the rest will perhaps help me )...

I finished my first mod with no problems, except a bizarre naming problem (although I believe it was caused either by moving the base, or placing the base too close to an existing base.)

Basically my mod adds a whole bunch of stuff to Alaska, it makes the system a hub connected to each Capital System (New London, New York, New Berlin, New Tokyo, as well as links to the outer systems.) It also links up the Nomad systems. As soon as exclusion gates (definately) work, then I can add those and it will be finished. If anyone feels like giving it a try, just drop me an email.

If it were possible, I'd call for three cheers for shsan... This is easily one of the best non-developement-team tools I've seen.

Alright Shsan I'll leave the Manual to you... but since i have been programming for 21 years in many Compiles and scripting for a long time too.. thought i'd be able to contribute... Would you allow me to send you An acrobat file containing an organized structure of the File Base nicknames... Weapon Nicknames...Faction Nicknames...Voice Nicknames associated with their Costume and their picture...and Goods Nicknames???

Acrobat is free off the Net to get the reader and It is great for displaying Pictures and text. Unfortunately Its not as Petite as Text based documents.

Ok, I will try to reproduce the crashes. By the way, is there a way to complete a patrol route? I was adding one and I don't know how to end it.

Ok, here's one crash. I was placing some exclusion zones and suddently the system turned black. I could still see the tradlanes and planets. I quicly pressed the add button and the galaxy map was all grey.

I have a bug. I create a new system called: uhh.... "Firestorm"
In that system I add a field/tradelane/planet or something (it doesnt matter) and I call it: "sample"
When I go the Sirius sector main menu, it say that my system is called "sample"

I have seen the black screen too, most of the time changing the zoom fixes it.
I'll try to see what it is exactly.
About the name problem, i don't have it here... strange.
Can you tell me what version you have (in fact can you do that each time you are reporting a bug ?
Just to make sure, that i don't try to fix something which is already fixed.

What is the latest version or when was the latest version posted?

Also, Y can't I put in jumpgates, in the program I can put them in and they show up in the map in the program, but when I play the game, they are not there. I can have jumpholes all day long without fail, just jumpgates.

Also, I created a new system, but when I play the game and try to purchase ships, they are not there. The equipment is there, but the commodities and ships aren't there.

Ok my problem is similar to the one above. I make a system and jumpholes and when I go to the system with the jumphole to my system the hole doesnt show up...

Pu_Raydo, you don't need it anymore. The latest version uses another method to create the dll with the correct names.

sealnova, ok i don't know what is happening. I'll check that next week when i have more time.

MLEdele, just go to the web page and you will see the progress report and the version number.
I really don't know what's going on with the jumpgates. What type are you creating (jumpgate,nomad..) ,legal path or not, what faction and are you in MP ?

BloodSkull, i don't if you are doing something wrong or not but very few people are reporting problems with jumphole/gate and when i test it it's fine.

There is perhaps something wrong in MP but i am not sure. I don't have a lot of time this week, so i'll check everything next week.

in freelancer explorer u can find the version u are running in the help tab by clicking on about , like in any other programm

oh and if there is no about , then u are running a ancient version of FreelancerExplorer and are in desperate need of a update lol
