Bad Day!!!!!
Try not to laugh too hard
Mission: Saving Steiner
Attempts: 4
Reasons..................
1) First time round I got back to the Yamato and the final coalition wing jumped in because a) they have a death wish and b) they just ain't read the script (Okay I know it's a game but if you can't have fun ). Trying hard to act scared I turned bravely to face them and then.......wait for it.......my shroud hud display changed to a perfect copy of windows and the coalition wing had disappeared
Now I've heard of starlancer occasionally crashing whist reading the forums but it never happened to me before. I was roughly 1mn away from completing the mission and moving on. Turns out my comp. was trying something it shouldn't and interfered with the game.
2) Fixed the comp. and started again.........this time I only got as far as the prison ship before the phone rang and my other half asked me to pick her up at the train station . Damn foiled again.....so I had to choose between finishing the mission and then picking her up or quiting the game and preserving my life expectancy....close call, close call
3) Had a spare 15 mins before film started so I thought I'd just complete the mission......oh no, silly me.....just did the first jump and then mother called.....goodbye game......goodbye film
Decided to leave it until morning
4) Completed mission and cintinued..... sometimes you are destined to spend an eternity on one mission and it has nothing to with the game
