Crashing Back To Desktop

hi i wonder if any of u fellow lancers can help me. started playing freelancer thought kool good game. Then i went to my uncle's to find Starlancer on his cd rack. Kool i Thought. i will play this first and i got to addmitt i only done i mission i a prefer Star to Free. See i am a WingCommander fan. free more like elite2 to me. The problem that i have is starlancer keeps crashing back to desktop sometimes after 1 mission sometimes after 2 missions my config is
WindowsXP PRO SP1 AMD2200XP 512ddr kx7333r motherboard Geforce4ti4600 SBAudigy ata133 on the raid striping mode please help.

Uncheck the EAX sound. Should do the trick.
