as u all might know, squadron commander IS the highest possible rank that is offered in SL. i was wandering, when was the first time you got promoted to this rank ? (without cheats) i became squadron commander after the level b4 the one where u rescue steiner.

Moose: watch out! missile on our 6!!
pilot(you):u r in the rear seat, and its at our '6' - u first.

I guess you get promoted to that rank before the final mission by default - I always had Enruiquez say sth like "though you now hold my rank, you're still under my command till you get your own squadron". Still, my promotion always came through very shortly before the last mission (mission 22 or 23 - don't remember now).

There is no greater fear than running out of beer!
