shroud isn't my fav fighter, its got too less hardpoints, and just one type of gun... its still the fastest, but i nearly always afterburn to anywhere, even when i'm dogfighting, i find it immune to any form of gun after the first shot. its also too agile. i keep losing aim... :S but, i still fly wif the shroud. btr stay on the safe side.. but i like zlo's point... but i kinda find hte rippers a bit... thick ?? why don't they start moving ?? and i seen them sabres chewing away pretty fast.

The shroud is easily my fav fighter it's blind fire ability is incredibly handy in mission 24 i can kill 5-6 fighters before the gamma pilots get blown up. sure the guns are slightly weaker the the phonix but they are fast and i use my boost to smash into the fighter if i thinking i'm spending to long on them. i would have done the mission set 30 times over and everytime shrowd has been my favoite ship.

Finally gave in and used the shroud, everything was going well, then SL goes to desktop to tell my im out of space on drive C, and when i finally got back in, half th rippers were blown up! stupid computer.....

My fav fighter is the tempest its a good midway fighter, can soak up almost as much damage as the wolverine and has the same amount of hardpoints but has more speed and is almost as fast as the patriot with more power (primary and secondary) to it, ever notice that the patriot as a medium fighter has the same maneuverability as both the tempest and the wolverine?

Mouse? What mouse? There's no such thing as fine motor control in MY deathmatch!

pfft, as i figured out you dont need shroud. I used the borodin to hide from the cannon and then ran behind the mammoth, and i never had a problem. Didnt leave enough fuel pods though

I beat StarLancer!! in phoenix!!!!!!! unfortunately, petrov got away .
Got Petrov this time! one nova cannon, and bye bye petrov. they killed steiner though
