No; when you beat the first half of the campaign, you have to switch disks in order to begin the second half, which I will not spoil here.

I'll assume you meant Ivan Petrov, not Nicolai. Unless you bought a newer version, I'm positive that the first disk covers the first half of the missions, and the second disk the second half.

I think disc one is install and the second part of the game, i.e. you install it from the first disk, then run the game from the second one, and then return back to the first one to finish the second half of the game. I'm not too sure though, been busy recently with other things, no time for gaming

Doesn't it usually tell you to put the other disc in to continue?? Can't remember rightly as it's been a while
