I think this has already been brought up. It's about the issue with the torps doing almost no damage to weapons platforms. Same thing happens with me when fighting stations on the random missions. The torps do jack, and the only way to take them out is with guns. Torps seem to damage everything else except this it seems.

I've seen that too. It looks like the missile explodes inside the model, not on it, cause the explosion goes thru and past the weapons platform or base. I dunno, tho....

What stations and weapon platforms are you referring to? I will test this out some more, but can you give me certain areas. I will try and fix this problem.

I will also check the HP on the WP platforms and such, I may have messed up and made them have like a billion HP LOL

I havent tried any torpedoes yet, too expensive for me =-). al though Cannonball missiles seem to work alright on them for me.

ehehe.... Tie Defender loaded with Death's Hand turrets..... who needs torps?
ehehehehe

But like I said, It looks as though the missiles aren't exploding properly... perhaps the game creates a hurtfield around solids that don't have shields, but it only hurts missiles. probably not, but then the increase in hull plating for the missiles would be the problem.

I'm refering to the stations and weapons platforms generated by the random missions. The HP seems to be ok, the torps are the problem. The HP goes down when I shoot with guns, but doesn't move when I use torps.

BTW, you should put in the X-wing and the A-wing. Those would be some sool ships to fight against the TIE fightinters.

Hole,

next time you attack one, stop and watch the health of the station as the missile impacts. In my experience it sometimes drops b4 u see the explosion.

I'm hitting the station with four torps. The health bar does not visually go down. My guns will inflict damage far more efficiantly.

i've noticed a somewhat similar problem with Cannon balls, the longer they have to travel, the less damage they do, usually fire them in pairs, but i tested firing them singly with the same result.

Just wanted to let you know of a couple of problems I encountered.
I've updated to v2.0 beta 4 after uninstalling and deleting beta 3, yep I had to remove all saved games before installing beta 3.
I'm playing a game I just started with BETA 3.

OK, On to the two things I've found with the Defender fighter:

It still thinks it is a heavy fighter, if I uninstall the level 6 shield that comes with it I cannot mount any shields, even the original shield that came with it. When you select the shield mount it says it is a heavy fighter shield mount location, but no shields of any kind will mount.

I just got a Dark Blossom as a drop and I cannot mount it, I just read that it is turrent only at this time.

Keep up the good work on this great mod

I'll take a look at the missiles. It is possible they may be losing damage over time.

Also nice screenies, bit I really like the other one, you just have all my favorites colors in that one, I was almost drooling over that pic hehe.

BETA 5 is looking good. Already got the cargo train in and armored transport will be in soon too.

The bouncing has been fixed as well as other bugs. No ETA yet. I am really hoping by next Friday if I get some time to work on it.

I'll keep you guys posted.
