TNG 2.5.6 ID Obscurity

A certain issue has struck my FL TNG 2.5.6 (patched).
Every ship's name is "IDS?"
Every solar is named -blank- or just "Base"
Factions are nameless, and so are the people in the bar.
I can only tell friend from foe by color.

While not a game-crashing issue, i'd like help. DLL? XML?
Just name it, i'll dive in.
But nothing is guaranteed by my below average computer literacy.

you might want to check over at Starfyre Studios. Generally, they are very helpful with problems, but they will ask if you did a CLEAN install of both FreeLancer and TNG- if not, that'll be the first thing they'll suggest. (IOW- get your multiplayer ID; uninstall FL; DELETE the FL directory, your saved games, etc.; install FL, FLMM, TNG)

IDS? will show up when the game does not fine the name/infocards the numbers in the inis are referencing to. That can be caused by a bad installation, a screwed FLMM installation (unlikely) and many other circumstances, like more than mod activated might overwrite a dll containing infocards etc.

When everything they made names etc. for gives IDS?, it is obviously no the mod's fault (if they do not state that there were no infocards done yet), because no one would release a mod without doing infocards and without telling you that they would be done later.
