Trent Change..... help

Sorry to post here, but I tried the other Mod forum and noone seems to respond. Can someone lead me to a link or explain how to change the look of Trent? I`ve seen some Mods that do it, but none doing the type of guy I want . How can I alter Trent?

Most likely Nobody is responding because you should be asking a question about editing in The Lancers Reactor > Forums > Freelancer Editing: Freelancer General Editing Forum

And or reading about how to edit characters in The Lancers Reactor > Forums > Freelancer Editing: Freelancer Editing Tutorial Forum

I'll try and answer your question for you here anyway......
Download the Freelancer SDK v1.3 and install it into a folder of you choice and you can also install it right into the Freelancer folder.
After you install the Freelancer SDK version 1.3 navigate to the Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\CHARACTERS folder and look at bodyparts.ini and costumes.ini

Those two files should be the files you need to edit.....

Sorry, if I sounded a bit desperate and in the wrong place. It`s a bit daunting for a first timer here. And some of those pages go on forever. Very hard to find the bit I`m looking for- and I did try. But your help is much appreciated. Oh I did glean that I needed the SDK, but wasn`t sure what to do next.Thanx.
