help on FLMM it keeps just quitting out on the screen where

before the game starts there is the microsoft logo thing and then digital anvil and then the intro movie and finally there is the frelancer logo then it goes to the game. except for when i downloaded the FLMM it worked for a couple of days and then it just keeps exiting right when it gets to the Freelancer logo instead of going to the menu screen. I NEED HELP. ANYONE IF YOU KNOW HOW I COULD FIX THIS OR DO I HAVE TO JUST REINSTALL THE GAME PLEASE I NEED HELP .

get rid of all ur saved games and see if FL loads up. if it does then that means some of the saved games were using mods that you've disabled.

The only prob i have had is mods not turnin off,I have had to reload my Free lancer 3 times due to FLMM not turnin off the mods....so now im doin the mods the hard way.

i have the same problem, but i have a saved game that is NOT an autosave. how do i del it, where are they stroed??

Savegames are stored in your My Documents folder, under My Games.

I had to completely uninstall freelancer and scrub my registry to get around it exiting.

This was after using the flrebalancemod and then removing it.

I am having this too, but not because of the rebalancing mod, i followed along with all the betas but today I tried the big train mod included and when i removed that it was back to win after the intros.

Busy fixing it now, also updating directX since i was still using 8.1, freelancer worked fine for the past 2 weeks though, until i tried that train mod earlier today :-(

EDIT: Well, i can play again, updated directX and while it was reïnstalling i removed the autosave, replaced it with old copy, i think that is the problem (since i haven't rebooted yet, so directX still uses old files).

The autosave had a otherwise non-pilotable ship, the train. Strange enough you can have a existing modded ship in your autosave and uninstall a mod and have the same ship only with normal freelancer settings when you load the save.

*HSDS*VINDICATOR: could you explain that problem more? Did you e-mail me about it? I can't help you figure out your problem if you never tell me about it

All of you having problems with Freelancer crashing at startup: yes, that is caused by saved games containing systems or ships that don't exist. FLMM comes with 2 menu options ("Tools\Delete Autosave" and "Options\Disable Autosave" ) that help you to avoid that problem. If it still crashes, then that is probably because you manually made a saved game with a mod loaded. You'll have to delete that saved game (or activate that mod again) before Freelancer will start.
