Crashing - New Berlin --> Frankfurt Jumpgate (Mission 10)

I think it's Mission 10 where I need to enter Rheinland space for the first time.
The first part all goes well and after docking with Planet New Berlin this German guy heads for me and takes me to the jumpgate.
But when I dock with the gate my PC freezes and restarts.

MS says it's caused by a device driver but I've updated everything and it's still crashing. I am using DirectX 9.

P4 2.66
512 DDR
120 GB ATA 133
GeForce 4 Ti 4200 AGP 8x -- Detonator 41.09
Integrated Sound
Win XP Home

It's all SiS and I know that ain't any good but as I said, running latest drivers.
Turning graphics down didn't help, nor did AA, Vertical sync etc.

Becoz of the autosave feature, I'm able to load an autosave after my PC has restarted. I'm in Frankfurt then but my german mate is nowhere and my waypoints are gone. I'm not able to dock anywhere so I can't do anything.

If anyone knows something that might help??

I contacted my lwp but he didn't understand as well. (FrigWarez ownz!!)

Now is there someone who has a serious hint coz this is a legal copy... makin' me sick.

* Try restarting from an earlier savegame

Seriously, have you tried loading an early save? You do have an earlier save, right?

PR version 1196, intentional bug placed in so you have to buy the game. Sneaky, eh?

I sincerely hope your versions wasn't Warez since it's a free beta copy....

*glup* that sucks. I tried loading several previous saves but none of them helped me out. And this ain't a warez version so I'm fukked up a bit I think?

Is it possible to edit a savegame or sumthing to get beyond the gate? I will try the game on another pc today but dunno if it's capable of running it...

BTW - SomeOne knows where the savegames are located?? Couldn't find them myself

Savegames are located in My Documents/My Games/Freelancer.

I ported the savegames to another pc and this time it worked!
The pc didn't crash when jumping.
