I've reinstalled, uninstalled, changed settings and everything. My textures won't show up. I can see lights, smoke and that kinda stuff but the people and buildings are all one color. I am running an XP2200+, 768MB RAM, GF4 Ti4400, Win 2k, latest NVIDIA drivers, Direct X9, the whole works. Anyone have a solution? or maybe an idea??
This may not work, but it is a shot in the dark.
Try lowering the resolution on the game fro 1024x768 to say 800x600. Or try reducing some of the visual affects of the game. It maybe possible that the graphics card cannot handle the required processing ??
(I am guessing only. I had some problems with GF2 MX where I lost frames when running at 1024x768. Though you do have a GF4 TI, the one I want ).

Yes, enableing fog table emolution solves the problem.
It only happens on planets with fog (eg manhattan). At first I didn't know that. Then it happenet to me in space. I followed a pirate into a nebula. The moment I entered the nebula the textures were gone. That's when I realized that it is cause by fog.
I opened the display properties and found fog table emolution being disabled. Of course it must be enabled for correct fog display. For some strange reason the latest detonator drivers disable it during install.
Just enable it.
