Freelancer And IP Addresses

This is the strangest thing that I've ever noticed. No matter how many times I uninstall / reinstall Freelancer, and renew my IP address, etc, I always get the same one, a bunch of letters instead of numbers, ( IP address is fe80::20f:66ff:fe1c:4f85 ). This also means that I can't join my own servers, because it goes to a ( permanent ) loading screen. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, could those anyones please help me?

Go to the properties page of your network card and uncheck the 'Microsoft TCP/IP v6' checkbox.
