F1 key not doing anything

The game works correctly in all other ways. No other problems, but the F1 key. When I press it, the menu doesn't open.

In the main menu on the controls screen, the key binding to "Game Menu" is empty. I can't change it, because it's greyed out.

Hmm, no idea why it is greyed out. Try going to my documents/my games/freelancer - and deleting the perfooptions file. Then start FL and see if it is still greyed out (This resets your options chosen at previous times).
