Seth are u running any P2P software or a large download prog Like Torrent Storm or any thing of that nature that may interfere with packet sending, also what are comp specs and OS i will try best to help but need a little more info ok try checking that background progs like P2P are turned off and try again,, Also are u running any mods at all i'm sorta answering blind at moment as previous posts seemed to have dealt with all possible normal connection issues, and even some not so normal ones.. at least u have the pleasure to know yours is a special problem and that u are unique " meant in the nicest possible way"

please include more info or specs and i try my best ok

if you have a wireless router or a hub you should reset it,also look at the advice i posted to Der Shlippe's topic about reseting your lan card.

you did reset your lan card?if you have a cable modem i would reset it too.also you might try disabling your XP firewall in control panel, and updating your lan or phone-type-modem driver if it needs it.if none of that works i would call my ISP and complain about the lag or possibly replace the lan/or modem
