Restarts Computer

I am on "New London" at "Level 9" with a "Cavalier Fighter"The Loadout is 1xLavablade Mk3,2xSkyrails and a Barrager Mk1.
Following the Story Line
The Trouble is after Juni calls for a meet on Cambridge.
If I use the Trade Lane it Restarts the Computer and if I Fly to the Jumpgate and go to use it ,It also restarts the Computer
I do not have the Patch as it seems to say it is for Multiplay and I have No Mods
The Computer I am Using is as below
Operating System: Windows XP Professional Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2100+, ~1.7GHz Memory: 512MB RAM

mabey you should try going in a different way

dont know if there are any other ways though (im not good at remembering the map)

or mabey your cambrige file thing is messed up
reinstalling might help

Jumpgate - people say that is caused by 3D sound, so try deactivating that. Otherwise have you played any mods? Quite often a crash at tradelane is due to NPC's appearing, which could be the reminents of a mods bad files perhaps

What Chips said if you have a C-Media or Realtek AC 97 sound try new sound driver or disable 3d sound in the options menu, if not try to reinstall the game ver top of itself this will sorta rebalance it if it is caused by a bad mod
