Video erros

Hi, so after having fixed my audio problems thanks to this forum, I play the game, but the game engine seems to be doing weird things.. All the time, there appear semi-transparent flashing lines that flash from corners and edges of objects such as stations and ships to the outer edges of the screen.. They appear and then dissapear quickly, but somewhat annoying and distracting. I used to have a GeForce3 and had no problems last time I ran the game.. Now I just got GeForce 6600GT and got the latest nVidia drivers, and so.. what should I do?

Do you mean like big bars of light that pulse like the status screens? That is normal, it happens to me all the time, big pulsing line appears on the screen for a minute or so and then dissapears, sometimes the tradelanes get these big vertex errors and have a big spikey offshoot on them (Not solid, i can fly though it) for a while, and then revert.
I have the same problem on my Halo game, sometimes it just goes haywire for a bit, especially on the 'Ice Fields' may when im flying a banshee up really high, the entire top half of the screen goes mental.
So, my opinion: normal
