Flickering text
The problem seems to be known by microsoft, however what the microsoft site tells me to do is get the latest drivers for my video card which so happens to be a matrox marvel g400 tv. Matrox no longer supply new drivers for win xp and explain that win xp already supplies the lates driver on there site. So how the hell am i supposed to stop the flickering text on freelancer when both microsoft and matrox cant give me a new driver??
my machine spec as is follows P4 1500mhz
win xp sp2
1gb mem
matrox marvel g400 tv vga
the game works perfect except you cannot read anything becuase the text in the game flickers so fast the only thing that stays long enough to read it is Start new game. Someone please help me.

However, maybe try the latest direct X9.0c version from MS, and give the card a test (go to start menu, run and then type in dxdiag and enter). Then test your graphics card etc.
