Ok, as many of you know I have been having a lot of computer problems lately, and I thought it was finally over when I got a new computer for Christmas. But was I wrong. My only problem with this computer (besides the crappy Pentium 3 prosesser it is using), I can't play Freelancer right. Technically I can play it, but when my problem is this bad, then there really isn't much point. My computer cant handle having the graphics up very high, but thats not my problem. The trouble is that I can't read a freaking thing. First off, lets take the menus. I can sort-of read the main menu, but the letters are all smushed up. When I go into options, most of the letters are so tiny they are like little dots. When I'm flying, everything still works fine, but I can't tell where the heck I'm going. Ok, lets say i just take off from Manhattan, the docking ring is behind me, there is Newark Station and Trenton Outpost to my sides, and I think three tradelanes. I move my courser over one of them, and what do I get? Blue dots on a black background. Its the same thing with almost everything i try to read in this game. I can't use my nav map effectivly, and I can't read what stations are right in front of me, and I still can't identify any other ships. Multiplayer has to be the biggest pain in the rear, I can chat and read the chat messages fine, but I can't tell what player is who when i try to click on them. And please don't tell me that the problem is in the resolution, I have tried that, both in-game and out. I just don't know what to do. So if any of you do, then please help!
