connecting to global server

can any1 help me, i try to go to internet server, i can get to the topics and then no servers aper, but it says on the top, connecting to global server... can any1 help me, email or msg me at [email protected] , or [email protected]
i realy need help,

do you have any firewall programs on ie; norton zonealarm and such if ya do turn them off they block the ports the game uses
