My brother has a problem (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be posting here). When he tries to create ANY character on ANY server besides his own server, he gets the message: "I'm sorry. but the character name you selected is already in use on this server. Please choose a new name and try again."
Yes, he's reinstalled Freelancer several times, changed the account ID several times, and entered countless random names.
We just don't know how to fix his dilemma. As noted above, when he creates a character on his own server, this problem does not occur.
