missing Ids/info/reps/etc...

Hi all. Im having problems with certain mods. I cant see the information for ID's, planet names, weapon names, ship info, system names and many more things like that. As far as I can tell, its only info about certain things that is missing.

Mods I have played and this problem occurs : AC clanwars 2.33, Triangulum

Soulforges (updated by chips?) train mod works fine by itself.

Any new system (in mods) is called "????" instead of Hell, or Empire or Triangulum Space.
New weps are named "IDs?"
New ships '' '' ''
Planet names are just grey boxes. These look to be the correct size, just no name is displayed in them. (The location in the sector is shown i.e: "sector 4D . Space"
Inside new systems tradelanes read "->" which is no good for navigation.

etc...

At first I thought it was a problem with the DL or the mod itself. I DLed it again on a high speed connection, and got the same result. However...
Because its happened in at least two different mods from people who dont have anything to do with each other, im thinking the problem is on my side somehow.
Could it be because of Win 98se? or some other thing? Any help or hints would be appreciated.

My computer specs are:
Win98 SE
128 Ram
56k Rockwell dialup
SBLive!
nVidia Geforce2 pro
1.4G physical memory free
erm....optical mouse? (i doubt this has anything to do with it

It is your OS system causing the problem i am affraid. I had this during testing with Evo, i ended up redoing all ids infocards - which took 2 days solid work (about 20+ hours or more). You can try getting them to do it, but i doubt it will. Sorry, i don't know what you can do about it either!
