Problems with Geforce FX

Does anyone know how to get Freelancer to run on a Geforce FX 5600 256MB? (driver version: 53.03) The game minimizes after the intro movies, then freezes. I tried deactivating the intro movies (as suggested at another board) but that didn't help one bit. Any advice would be welcome.

no card issue but an missing file or error in the file reinstal and it should work

Thanks a lot, I don't know why but it worked the second time I re-installed. Perhaps because this time I did a "clean" re-install...
And I was blaming my graphics card... shame on me...
