game crashes on certain

hi

for somehow in MP (I did not try SP) when ever I try to load my "DOOM" chars (for now happened on 2 servers) I get crashed out of the game and sometimes the computer get stucked and even after using power-off and then power-on the windows it self gets stuck on restart, so I leave the comp for few minetes turn it on and every thing seems fine tell I load "DOOM" character.
using other chars seems fine (I did some dueling but not missions)

sometime I get error msg but do not remmember it exactly its something like
"this file cuased a problem **engine**.dll

I am going to reinstal but I thought I should check with you guys before it.

it seems that the problem is with the certain character "DOOM" on one server
it could be problem on the server side somehow my char file is couropted?

Either delete the char or contact the admin.

this is the error I get:

AppName: freelancer.exe AppVer: 1.0.1223.11 ModName: engbase.dll

is this server problem or my PC problem?

I just get it when I am using a certain char.
it happened to me on another server also only once (but that was after being crashed using the couropted char and did not reset the comp just activated FL again) I play on 3 server all chars are "ok" except for this one.

the problem was solved by getting my character killed, after the game got stucked I left my comp alone, I heard (only sound) the NPC attacking me after 5-10min I heard an explosion and no sound after it, I restarted my computer and activated FL and every thing is ok now with my character.

I think by getting my character killed I just forced the server program to use the last docked place backup so eventualy the couropted file had been deleted and older file had been used

it had been done 2-3 days ago but I thought posting the soulotion my help others.
