Server problems

Hey all, I'm trying to test some mods for online play, but I seem to be stuck. I got the FLMM 1.2 and several mods running at the same time (none of them conflict according to the program.). But here's the big problem, I can't fly to the California System or Texas System without getting a disconnected error. Well, I al-tab to the server and it still says I'm logged on, then when I try to check some stats, the FL server crashes. Wonderful, eh?

Anyhow, I don't know if it's the mods being run or if it's something else.

I'm playing and hosting on the same machine, so it might be that. But here are the stats:

AMD Athlon 1 Ghz
512 MB PC133 SDRAM

Also have a Linksys 4 port Router.

I'm also using IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator.

Also, the mods that are currently running are:

Porsche's Star Wars Ship Pack 4.0
600 Cruise Engine Mod
Super Ion Thrusters Mod
Ghost Docking Ring Mod
Battleship Encounter Mod

All of them are fine, according to FLMM, so I think it might be the RAM or the Router. But if it was, then I don't understand why it the MP server won't let me enter Texas or California.

I came. I played. I won. Again. and Again. And Again.

first if your running all that at once thats the reson the more mods you have the harder it is on the server most server run on seperate machines for that with a 1g processor n no mod you might be able to run 10/15 max players on the server also if your playing on the machine that runs it is hard on the processor you can try to increase your virtal memory might help but i dont think it will n shut down all the stuff in the back ground you dont need at all like iron cross when your playing on it if it crashes you will no

have a nice day

It's neither your RAM or your router. I know that for two reasons:
- Your computer's probably been working perfectly up until now. If you had RAM that was bad, in the very BEST case, you'd have wierd things happening all over the place
- It's not your router, because when you play multiplayer with the client and server on the same machine, it stays locally and doesn't even go out to the network. As an aside, I've got a Linksys 8 port router and haven't had an issue.

I'd say one of your mods is conflicting. If you can't enter a couple systems but the rest work fine, this is a clear indication that there's a problem in the ini files now. Try deactivating the mods one at a time, restart FLServer, and join your server again and try it.

Good luck buddy
