FL MP and an ISA-Server (Firewall)
Hi there,
When I run a FL-Server in my LAN, I can connect to it and play, that works so fine.
But when I try to play on Servers in the Internet, I always see the message "connecting to global server..." yada yada, and nothing more happens. No servers listed there.
My computer is running behind a Microsoft ISA-Server (Firewall and Proxy). I followed all the steps mentioned by Microsoft to configure the DirectPlay Ports to be open. But no FL-Servers found so far
Is anybody here with knowledge of configuring an ISA-Server? I post the protocol-definitions, target-sets, a.s.o. by email (and/or into this list here, if s/b is interested).
btw: it worked fine, before I set up the ISA in my company-network. ISA has to be running, no way to take it off (as I have had some intrusions in the past and the LAN is not only private
Anymore details needed? For solutions, just email me. If topic is of common interest (more ISA-Users out there?), then let's use the list.
"Wo würden wir denn hinkommen, wenn jeder immer bloss sagte, "Wo würden wir denn hinkommen...", und keiner ginge hin, um nachzusehen, wo wir denn hinkämen, wenn wir nur hingingen?
