I am having this same problem.. i had to repair winXP and Freelancer now says my username and password are not valid for ANY server...

It has nothing to do with ID.. I have set up 3 different accounts, 2 with my ID's.. and 1 with a brand new ID... same problem with all...

The only thing I have NOT tried so far is formatting my comp completely. Right now I am DLing DirectX and following MS's troubleshooting procedure...

I hope someone has an answer for this.. cuz I am not having any luck..

Uhm if you would have taken the time to read the readme file that comes with the game you would have read that you need Dx9 to be able to play online

TO EVERYONE SEEKING HELP FROM Micro$oft FAQ or tech help section....DONT BOTHER, M$ are a money grabing corparation who care little or none for their gaming customers. I have never had any help from M$ regardeing my mulityplayer problems and I dont think I ever will, they dont even give a contact adress or even a folow-up patch for the game.

While I don’t think bashing Microsoft is the answer, (god knows they have had some stick in the last few days), I do agree that ms are not particularly helpful when it comes to after sales service.

The most and best help I have had concerning all matters computer related have come from this site.
