Rebooting

Hi,

Often when I'm playing I get that li'l red warning sign then "connection lost". I understand an overloaded server or an internet hiccup, though why it usually happens in the middle of a mission ...

My question is... alot of these times I lose my IP stack and can't connect to the internet at all (freelancer, browser, everything); a reboot "solves" this... any cure ??

Also I've had screen lockups and need to reboot, and times when the game has just quit me onto the desktop freezing both mouse and keyboard.

System:
WinME OS
G400 Vidcard
ZoneAlarm
Cable connect, Linksys router
Both OS and game are originals

Any chance of upgrading to windowsXP? or Downgrade to 98se?

If not try to reinstall your windows.... ME sux(not me)

moby is 100% correct, get rid of ME, it is total rubbish, 98se is better, but go XP if u can, u won't regret it.

yeah Windows ME is a SUCKY OS, Windows XP would be the thing to do. WIndows ME locks up, crashes programs and a lot of outher crap. its just another poorly coded windows OS. ITS FISHER PRICE I TELL YA!

lol feel free to send me an XP CD.
Win-ME has worked fine for me so far.... another post even states that Freelancer works better under ME than XP.
