FLServer will NOT shut down

Hello,

I am asking here, cos I can't find the answer in any of the forums. (I have tried, but either the search isn't too hot, I'm looking for the wrong thing, or I'm just thick - probably the latter).

Problem is: The server just sits at the Please wait while the server shuts down screen when I try to exit the program. I can use it fine, it stores accounts, and generally is fine, it just won't shut down properly.

It's on a Duron 1.1Ghz, 1Gb Ram, 20Gb HDD, 8Mb on board graphics (but that shouldn't be a problem for the Server, should it?)

ANy help you can give will be gratefully received,

Regards

Derrick

Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Then select the server, click end task. Wallah. Closed

"In space, no one can hear you yell YEHAW - Only your coworkers frowning at you."

Thanks James.

I suppose I *should* have asked: Has anyone seen this behaviour, and got any 'tidy' ways of fixing the problem. Obviously, ending the task is an 'untidy' way of ending a process, and should only be used as a last resort.

Regards

Derrick
