Repeated game crashes

ok i posted once for this but didnt see any responses so here goes
again.
Game crashes everytime i play sometimes after 10 minutes sometimes longer
and sometimes it will crash as soon as i get to main menu
I have tried everything i can think of to fix this problem but no luck
P4 1.4 /640 ram
GF4 440 MX 64mg
WIN98 OS
Creative PCI128 sound
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Ok traced down latest motherboard drivers and updated those . lol now game wont launch at all i cant win for losing hehe

Mine crashes as soon as I try to connect to a server. it starts to connect, and Boom, looking at my desktop.

I'm having the same problem .. it happened after I installed service pack 4 for windows 2000. installed the latest drivers for my geforce 3ti and directx 9 and re-installed the game but I still get a crash as soon as the main menu tries to display.
