Blank screen + Game crashes

I have a P III 900 MHz with a GeForce 2 GTS and Directx9.0. I cannot seem to make the gaame run on my PC. I can hear the opening movie (microsoft game studios one ) playing but i get a blank screen and after its done.. the game crashes.. dont even get the anvil studios movie. Can anyone help?

What is your RAM and the capacity of your video card...Freelancer requires 128 MB of RAM and a 16 MB 3D video card

I have 32MB DDR on my video card and 640MB SDRAM on my system. I meet the system reqs. I think its a driver conflict somewhere but i have no idea why. Can you help?

hehehe..I have PII 400 with GeForce Ti 4200 it runs great...anyway you might need the latest update which is at www.nvidia.com the file should be called 44.03_win2kxp_international ...If this isnt the latest reply to me.

If this doesnt do it...You have to buy something more modern like Geforce 4 MX 440 or Geforce 4 Ti 4200 or 4400 or even higher like GeForce FX 5900
Or comepletely switch to ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 Pro

And also...ATI Radeon 9500 Pro and GeForce FX 5900 support DirectX 9 Graphics
Which in fact is AWESOME and looks great! Hope all of this helps
