A neighbor of mine, bought Freelancer yesterday after I showed him the program. He installed it on his computer, but keeps getting a run error saying that he does not have the "dinput8.dll" file. So we searched "google" and found the "dinput8.dll" file and installed it into the Windows/system file and restarted. That did not fix the problem, and his game refuses to run.
His computer should be able to run it. (800mhz/192 megs ram/win me/120gb drive. Any ideas or suggestions welcome. G
