The place to ask for technical help with running the demo or the full game...

My Kraken''s and Tizona Del Cid''s DOn''t Work!

After loading Friendlier Univers _2, my Kraken 2's and Tizona Del Cid's do not fire. No sound and no graphics. The only other mod I use is the Forward Firing Turret one. What's with that?

Must the FLMM be loaded for each FL start? Do mods have to be activated each FL load?

If your using a mod yes activate the mod or mods (as long as they don't conflict) with the mod manager then click on file in the mod manager and launch the game. When you activate a mod the mod manager loads the ini files of that mod into the freelancer directory and when you deactivate the mod it loads the original files back into freelancer. Why your guns don't fire I don't know what is causing that. Have you tried mounting different guns, if they work then maybe you can go back to your regular guns.

Try looking at your weapons list in the lower right. It could be that they're not activated for some reason. (Green is on )

Thanks! I understand about loading issues now.

The Guns I had before the mod worked OK. After the mod they went dead. They are, in fact, ON (selected for use) and the only ones that work in the Class 9 position are Wyrm 2's! I guess, besides the technical point, I miss the Tizona Del Cid's a lot!!!

Still working on it.
