TNG 1.4 bug

The place to ask for technical help with running the demo or the full game...

TNG 1.4 bug

OK, here's the deal:
I've got a problem with mission 7: escape from Leeds, stage 3 -- jump to Tau-31.
The problem is that I cannot use the jumpgate because the game doesn't clear the "destroy the blockade ships" flag, and I'm stuck with that objective (even though I pulverized the ships).
I'm playing Freelancer ver. 1.0 (sparkling clear install, I even manually deleted the registry leftovers from the previous), TNG 1.4 mod ( clean FLMM 1.2BETA, d/l TNG1.2, patched to 1.4 properly -- I read readme's ) I have not modded anything myself (yet), and I've tried EVERYTHING during the mission itself -- waiting, hurrying, different ship, different weaps, etc. with no success. I am currently in a Shadow, equipped with heavy shadow beam, adv. countermeasure, and ripper mines, lv. 10 heavy phase shield, default powerplant, tractor beam 'n' all, and adv. thruster. Juni, Sinclair and Quintane cannot die during the mission (but I guess that's normal). 2 questions:
1. Am I sentanced to starting over in an unmodded version, then modding the game again after sp, or can you fix it?
2. Have I left some important info regardng the game itself, that would help w/ the bug squashing? If so, just ask.(BTW the sys spec -- Athlon /palomino/ XP2000+, 512 MB DDRAM, VIA KT333 mobo, GF4Ti4200, latest (stable) drivers for everything, Win XP Pro, I am the sys admin (naturally))
If anyone knows how to deal with this, please help. ( Yes, I was too lazy to check if this was mentioned before... )

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

Shadow ship ? are you running a modded version because shadow ships aren't standard. You should try installing original ini files then start a new game keeping to standard ships. If you are using a modded ship you will have problems with the cut scenes which sounds like what you have now. I know that from trying to start with a anubis it screwed up the cut scenes and left you wandering around waiting for the next level.

Yea.....The Anubis is a stock ship. ITs the Orders ship. I've been flying that thing for a while...It costs about 1100, and is a decent ship. You get them later in the game once you become basically cut off from every port minus pirates.

@AlienSpawn3D & JamesTalon: I'm not an idiot (although I maybe look like one), and I do know what I'm talking about... Thank you for trying.
Anyway the new "mission 12 fix" patch for TNG does the trick (it solved the mission 7 issue too). Good work TNG team!
