Repairing or upgrading ships

Whenever I am repairing or upgrading my ship it says it cannot contact the server then kicks me out, I have loads of money but can't upgrade or repair my ship. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Sounds either like a mod you have running or a corrupted player save on the server. Have you tried making a new character to see if it does the same?

Yeah I tried that, could it be a windows or internet server issue, this appears to happen regardless of whatever server I play. It's really annoying. But thanks for replying.
