Stuttering speech :-(
Sorry to bother all but my speech is stuttering in game and on bases/stations. Wasn't too bad to start with (or maybe I just was too engorossed to care) but now its terrible. Almost completely impossible to tell what anyone is saying.
I have checked the CD is clean (it is), Closed all other progams (including as many services as possible) and defragged the harddrive (a nearly full 120gig, took bl00min' ages).
All of this makes no differance
I did do a forum search and found many issues to do with sound but none seemed to be like this.
My Spec:
Epox 8rda+
Athlon XP2600+
256mg DDR400 at 170 x 2 cas2 (same as chip, bl00dy mobo)
Sapphire 9500pro (great overclocker)
52 speed cdrom drive
8meg cache 120gig Western Dig HD
460 watt Enermax PSU
Massive SLK800 HS on CPU (Wasted due to mobo)
Even with just a 9500p I can run FL 1600x1200 full detail and a little AA thanks to OC'ing with ZERO slowdown but this stuttering speech is really spoiling the SP missions. Not that the speech is technically really important but its all to do with the atmoss innit???
