get black screen on startup

i have just gotten a GeForce FX 5600.
i get the option stop or start the game. but the game go into black screen when i press yes.

help (the game did work when i used a GeForce 2).....

delete autosave.fl and restart.fl (located by 'saved games')

Use older vid card drivers.

Latest ones seem to bollocks up freelancer for some reason.

i have tried all the drivers i can get my hands on, it dont work

You have to go right back to 42 series drivers... the prob is in 43 and 44....
