subtitle / text problem

Hello. I played the demo before buying the game and there were subtitles during the cutscenes!
But that's not the real problem after all!
The real problem is that in the demo, on the left side of the HUD, just below the faces of people transmitting radio messages, I could read the text of the words they were saying, while in the game text doesn't appears.
I can't even find any option about the subtitles in the OPTIONS menu.
Maybe subtitles are not implemented (strange, anyway....) but then, why were they implemented in the demo?
Furthermore I'm not so well english speaking.....and I'm not the only one.....
Why can't I have subtitles and text of the radio messages?
Please help me!
Please tell me how & where I can get the subtitles and the text
Or at least, You Microsoft or you Freelancer's lovers who can understand programming create a patch!
Marco.
frustrated player from Rome, Italy

My system is :
Windows XP professional
512 mb Ram
ATI radeon 9700 (the autodetect recognize it as a 9700 pro)
Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz
Latest ati drivers
80 gbyte hd
The question is :
If there' s a problem with the graphic card why I had the subtitles showing up in the demo and I have them NOT showing up in the game?
Please help me!

THANKS TO ANYONE WHO WILL HELP!!!

Hmm. I didn't have subtitles in the demo either.

Well, the characters tend to speak really clear english, so it's not that hard to listen.

And you at least write english very well, so I doubt you'll have any trouble listening.

But at least to my knowledge there is no subtitles, nor a patch to put them in.
