Freelancer keep hanging! Help!

I have never had this problem, until very recently. Sometimes, it hangs, sometimes it doesn't. It happens only when I play Freelancer or watch DivX movies from my hard disk.

I checked and I know it ain't any probs with my sound drivers or AGP card. The game just ... BZZZZZZT~~!! Freezes or hangs, and I have to reboot. I am using WinXP and I check my error logs, and the PC sayz that Freelancer hanged the PC.

I have been having lock up problems too. What has got me mad is that it used to work fine, then I ran into some system trouble had to format C drive reinstall win98, and now it locks up. AMD 1gig, Gforce2, Philips Rhythmic Edge sound card, 512m ram. I have all the newest drivers. one would think that it would run better with a cleaned up windows.

Me too, lock up problem. Latest drivers of all things in my CPU. AMD Athlon XP 1800++, Abit Siluro GeForce4 Ti, 256DDR, 40Gs HDD and a SB Live. How could it go wrong? Mine used to work fine .. sigh!

CAn someone from those Freelancer fans help me or us? T_T
