Interesting Problem

I am having a problem with the the game locking up trying to exit multiplayer. Some times I can alt tab out and it will just say not respondidn and other times I will try to alt tab out an can't the windows curser will apear but nothing else I still see the Freelancer stuff on the screen and I have to reboot to clear it.

What I have tried
New and old Nvidia Drivers
New and old Audigy Drivers
New and old Intel NIC Drivers
The latest Via Drivers

I have a
7vaxp Ultra board with a AthlonXP 2200+
1 GB DDR 2700
Geforce 3 Ti 200

Hopefully some one can help me out with this

My computer also would FREEZE when exiting the multiplayer game. I was using a freeware firewall program called ZoneAlert. My system error log reported a "True Vector" application error when the computer locked-up. True Vector is a component of ZoneAlert.

I shut down the firewall program and the multiplayer server problem vanished.

PS. I now use a cheapo router with NAT hardware firewall.
