I've only had freelancer for a little while and have been working through the SP lvls

On the lvl where you have to rescue the president you have to dock with the prison station and theres a longish film strip/sequence. My technical problem is just after the president shots the Nomad the game freezes and i'm left watching the "still" nomad on its decent to the floor.

I have tried leaving the comp. to get over it but its well frozen and i'm forced to manually restart the computer

If anyone could help me here it be much appreciated

Also i would like to know where the saved game files are kept and what the file that keeps them is called as i wanted to try copying them and sticking them on another comp. to see if i can get past the film seqence on another computer but i don't know where it is & what its called

I can get into the game directory but cannot see where the files are saved

Any help would be nice otherwise the game is useless after a certain lvl
